Ocean Bird Foundation International (OBFI)

Ocean Bird Foundation International (OBFI), established in 2019, is a legally registered Trust under the Deeds Registries Act [Chapter 20:05] of Zimbabwe. As an indigenous organization, OBFI is committed to empowering communities through various initiatives, including skills training, community empowerment, advocacy, and humanitarian efforts.

- This Act provides the legal foundation for the registration of Trusts in Zimbabwe. It ensures that OBFI is recognized as a legal entity capable of owning property, entering into contracts, and conducting activities in line with its objectives.
- Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment Act [Chapter 14:33]:
- This Act supports the operations of indigenous organizations like OBFI by promoting the economic empowerment of indigenous Zimbabweans. It provides a framework for community empowerment initiatives, ensuring that local communities benefit from economic activities and skills training programs.
