OBFI operates under the legal framework provided by the Constitution of Zimbabwe Amendment (No. 20) Act, 2013, ensuring our activities are legally binding and constitutionally supported. Key constitutional provisions include:
- Freedom of Association (Section 71): This guarantees our right to form and operate as an independent entity, offering certification services in line with our objectives.
- Declaration of Rights (Chapter 4): Our training and certification activities align with the fundamental rights and freedoms set out in Chapter 4, ensuring we uphold the highest standards of human rights and professional conduct.
- Duty to Respect Fundamental Human Rights and Freedoms (Section 44): We are committed to transparency, fairness, and integrity in all our processes, fulfilling our constitutional duty to respect, protect, promote, and fulfill these rights.
Our Accreditation and Commitment to Excellence
OBFI is duly registered as a Trust under the Deeds Registries Act [Chapter 20:05] of Zimbabwe and has obtained necessary accreditation from relevant bodies to ensure our training programs meet required standards. Verification and Recognition
OBFI courses are verified by the South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (SAIOSH), a recognized body of the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). This verification ensures that our programs meet international standards and are acknowledged for their quality and rigor.
