Employer’s Guide to OBFI Certificate Authentication

  1. Check the Certificate Itself
  • Look for the official OBFI logo and authorized signatures.
  • Confirm the certificate has a unique certificate number and a QR code printed on it.
  • Verify the course title (e.g., Diploma in Dispensary Assistant) and date of issue.
  1. Scan the QR Code
  • Use a smartphone or QR scanner to scan the code printed on the certificate.
  • The QR code should redirect to the Ocean Bird Foundation International’s authentication portal.
  • If the QR code does not work or redirects elsewhere, treat the certificate as suspicious.

  1. Visit the Authentication Portal Directly
  • Go to: https://oceanbirdacademy.co.zw/certificate-authentication/
  • Enter the required details:
  • Certificate Number/ code
  1. Review the Verification Result
  • Valid Certificate: The portal confirms the certificate details match the official registry.
  • No Record Found: Possible reasons:
  • Certificate issued before 2026 (not digitized yet), you can contact +263784135909/email:registry@oceanbirdacademy.co.zw
  • Incorrect details entered.
  • Certificate may be fraudulent.
  1. If Online Verification Fails
  • Contact the Registrar’s Officeat OBFI.
  • Provide:
  • A scanned copy of the certificate.
  • Request manual verification and an official confirmation letter.
